About
Why we are building Sidecar
Sidecar began with a birthday card that sat on the hall table for three weeks. The date was in the calendar. The card was bought. Nothing joined the two up, and nothing said post this today.
That is the gap we kept finding. To-do apps hold tasks and ignore the people. Apps for keeping track of people hold the people and ignore the tasks. Calendars hold what somebody typed in. All of them wait to be read, so the deciding falls to whoever is still awake at nine in the evening.
So we are building a copilot rather than another list. You tell Sidecar what is going on in your own words, and it works out what matters now, what is slipping and what to do next, with the reason in a clause underneath. It reads the Google calendar and contacts you already keep, read-only, and names every place your data goes.
It is a small product, made for the UK, and it is not open yet. The waitlist comes first, then a short beta with a handful of testers. If you would like to be in that group, leave your email and we will keep you posted.
